Program Recognizes Employers That Demonstrate Superior Efforts to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions

BEVERLY, Mass., April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS), a leading supplier of innovative, high-productivity solutions for the semiconductor industry, has been recognized with a Spotlight Award for its bicycle commuting program at  the Excellence in Commuter Options (ECO) awards, held in Boston at Fenway Park, on March 28th.  The annual ECO awards honor Massachusetts employers and their efforts to reduce congestion and greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging employees to utilize green transportation options like walking, cycling, carpools and mass transit.  In addition to the Spotlight Award, Axcelis was recognized with a Leadership ECO Award for the third straight year.
