Axcelis Announces New 'Purion H' Order From Leading Advanced Logic Chip Maker

BEVERLY, Mass., March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS), a leading supplier of innovative, high-productivity solutions for the semiconductor industry, announced today that it has penetrated a new customer with the Purion H™ high current system with an order from a leading advanced logic chip manufacturer. The Purion H will be used to develop and manufacture sub 10nm logic devices.  The system shipped in the first quarter.
